Here a Eurolite USB DMX Pro MK2 interface can be configured and connected.

Step 1 - PLug Hardware and set Comm Port:

a) The Eurolite USB DMX Pro MK2 interface must be plugged into the computer.
b) The driver for the Eurolite USB DMX Pro MK2 interface must be installed (Windows or Mac: see www.steinigke.de)

c) If the driver is installed and the device is plugged into the computer, all available ports are listed under Comm Port.
Please note that if there are other DMX interfaces connected, make sure you set the correct Comm Port!
Under Windows the connected USB devices are displayed in the device manager.

Under Windows:

CommPort.png   Refresh.png - updates the list
The comm ports under Windows are COMx, where x is a number. A Comm Port is created for each USB device that communicates with the computer via a serial interface. If several USB devices are available on the computer, several comm ports are listed.
Either try the list or look in the Windows device manager for the correct port.

Under Mac OSX:
Eurolite uses the FTDI drivers (FTDIUSBSerialDriverxxxx.dmg), but MAC OSX only supports certain baud rates. The baudrate of 250000 baud needed for the Eurolite USB DMX Pro MK2 is unfortunately not supported.
Therefore the Eurolite USB DMX Pro MK2 cannot be used under MAC.

Step 2 - Further Settings:

Baudrate
Eurolite has only one baud rate 250000.

In-Output
The Eurolite USB DMX Pro MK2 interface can only be used as output.

Step 3 - Connect Hardware
